I'm Connor (Mackay), an English illustrator from the South Coast of the UK, now creating from my home in Germany. I'm passionate about storytelling across many forms — from picture books and character design to fan art and interactive worlds. My work is shaped by a lifelong love of comics, TV, and gaming, which continues to push my imagination and dedication to craft.
I create in both traditional and digital spaces. With paints and pens, I explore expressive mark-making and texture; in digital tools like Photoshop, Procreate, Blender, and Unity, I build characters and scenes that blend narrative and style. I enjoy moving between mediums, letting each one inspire new ideas and approaches.
Whether I'm illustrating original concepts or drawing inspiration from the games I play, my goal is always the same: to bring stories to life with warmth, personality, and a sense of wonder.
In my free time I also share my passion for games and art through streaming as Mackay_Primus, where I explore new and old titles, talk about a range of topics, and sometimes sketch live to create a warm atmosphere. I moved from the UK to Germany in 2025, and the change of scenery has added new energy and influences to my art. I'm currently working on personal projects and I'm open to freelance and full-time illustration opportunities.
